Bad Girls of the Bible (And What We Can Learn From Them).
BAD GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN! Ten of the Bible’s best-
known femmes fatales parade across the pages of Bad Girls
of the Bible with situations that sound oh-so-familiar. Eve had
food issues. Potiphar’s Wife and Delilah had man trouble.
Lot’s Wife and Michael couldn’t let go of the past. Sapphira
couldn’t let go of her money and Jezebel couldn’t let go of
anything! Yet the Woman at the Well quenched her thirst for
the truth, while Rahab and the Sinful Woman left their sordid
histories behind, proving Bad Girls can have a gloriously good
future. Let ten sisters show you why studying the Bible has never
been more fun!
Sundays, 9:40 a.m. Room 9
If You Want to Walk on Water, You’ve Got to GET OUT OF THE BOAT!
“Lord, if it’s you, tell me to come to you on the water.” – Simon Peter.
Peter may have been the first one out of the boat, but Jesus’
invitation to walk on water is for you as well. But walk on water?
What does that mean? Walking on water means:
• Facing your fears and choosing not to let fear have the last word.
• Discovering and embracing the unique calling of God on your life.
• Experiencing the power of God to accomplish what you would not
be capable of doing on your own
If You Want to Walk on Water, You’ve Got to Get Out of the
Boat helps you answer Christ’s call to greater faith, power-filled
deeds, and a new way of knowing Him. In this class you will learn
how to discern God’s call, transcend fear, risk faith, manage
failure, and trust God.
Saturdays – 4:45 p.m. Room 9

Lord, WHERE Are You When BAD THINGS HAPPEN? YOU NEVER
DREAMED it could happen to you! You cry for help. . .but God
doesn’t seem to hear! Why? Chaos, tragedies, broken
relationships – how could God who is all-powerful, all-wise and
all-loving allow these things? And what about the wars, disasters,
and plagues tearing the world apart? Gas is high! Food is high!
Unemployment is high! Where is God and doesn’t He care??
This class will guide you to the answers through the study of the
book Habakkuk, helping you to know God, understand Him and
love Him more fully. This study will minister to you and help you
walk by faith.

The Christian Atheist. This class will offer an honest, hard-hitting,
eye-opening look into the ways people believe in God but live
as if He doesn’t exist! This class will challenge us to think deeply,
honestly, and fearfully about how our lives may be contradicting
our message. Lessons will include:
• When You Believe in God but Not in Prayer
• When You Believe in God but Not in His Church
• When You Believe in God but Trust More in Money
• When You Believe in God but Still Worry All the Time
• When You Believe in God but Won’t Forgive.
These and other lessons will challenge you, push you, and disturb
you. And, hopefully, it will redefine your sense of purpose and
focus as Christians.
Wednesdays – 6 p.m. Room 308

precious, but also integrate it into your life. Engaging questions,
provocation Bible studies,, and lively discussions are just part of
the package. You’ll also be challenged to look for grace where
it counts the most: in your own character and personal life. If
you are ready to discover grace as more than just a fluffy
concept, buckle your seat belt. You’re about to take a journey
to the radical heart and soul of Christianity. The next life grace
changes could be yours.
Saturdays – 4:45 p.m. Room 1
New Believers’ Class. Just as every soldier must go through
“military boot camp,” so every Christian should go through
“spiritual boot camp.” In “spiritual boot camp” we learn the
basics of being a good Christian. However, we must first learn
what a Christian is. What are these words that you hear others
throwing around – words like “salvation,” “justification,”
“righteousness” and other terms. Sound like these people are
speaking “Christianese” to you? Well, this class will help you to
understand what being a Christian means. You will study lessons
on forgiveness, sin, Who Is Jesus, praying and many others. This
class is not just for “new” believers but members who wish to know
more about Jesus. These classes will last 13 weeks.
Sundays – 8:30 a.m.; 9:40 a.m. and 10:35 a.m.
